“The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful. It would be nice to have canoes available at the accommodation. There is not much light in the double bedroom on the ground floor near the shelves where you can put your clothes. The toilet in the bathroom with the double sink came loose from the wall a little. There was no shelf in the shower to put your shower items on in the bathroom with double sink. The hob was very difficult to turn on. It did not always respond.”

“The booking process and service provided by Fjord Rentals was perfect. We hadn't expected someone to come by so quickly (especially in the evening). Thank you very much again. We had already booked a cabin (Furuhus) with friends through Fjord Rentals three years ago and would do so again in a heartbeat. We would like to send a message to the owner of the house... We missed the following items in the kitchen, which could be purchased for little money... - A water jug/carafe - Tea strainer or teapot We also missed having somewhere to hang our clothes in the bedrooms. Three or four hooks per room would have been nice. We agree with other tenants who stated in their Google reviews that the blankets in the bedroom are too thin. We also had two nights that were very chilly. We also missed a little cosiness/personal touch (like Furuhus).”

“Beautiful lodge - fully equipped - but far from Vradal. Beautiful nature, we enjoyed walking in the area. The view from the cottage is truly amazing. The large glass surfaces allow you to be in direct contact with the changing weather outside. Lots of light in the living room. Quiet: we were there at the end of June 2025 and the three nearby lodges were empty. Spring: no mosquitoes! Having breakfast on the terrace is impossible - there is no table. In the photos, you see a beautifully set table (misleading). Storoddevegen is a gravel road, which creates a lot of dust when a car drives by. It is very difficult to cook anything on the induction hob due to the safety features. It keeps switching off, even with the extractor fan on maximum and the hob on 4. Difficult to find – the GPS system does not recognise Storoddevegen (it is also a private road). Please provide the coordinates of the lodge. Air extraction in the toilet would be appreciated.”

The “rough” cleaning was done well, but smaller details could be improved (doors, bottom of the wardrobe, window frames, bins were not emptied, bathroom drawers were not checked). “It was a fully equipped, cosy, personal, neat and well-kept cottage that felt like home. It had everything you needed, which is not always the case in other cottages, which can sometimes feel cold. Lovely large living room, wonderful and beautiful! The view was pleasant. Beautiful veranda and garden surroundings. We had the advantage that there were no people in the other cottages, so it was wonderfully peaceful! We didn't encounter any problems. It was a really great cottage!
