About this lodge
Jörd Hytte sits on the hill above Vrådal, at the forest's edge with the lake close by. The open-plan living area is the heart of the house — a sofa, dining table and fully equipped kitchen flow together, with a Bluetooth speaker and a record player and vinyl records on hand for evenings in.
The kitchen is built around an island, fully equipped with an induction hob, oven, combination microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, Dolce Gusto and filter coffee machines, kettle, toaster and sandwich maker. Pans, crockery and glasses are all provided.
Three bedrooms sleep six: a double downstairs with its own en-suite bathroom (shower, toilet, washbasin), and two further bedrooms upstairs, each with two single beds and hangers for extra storage.
Downstairs also has a shared bathroom with shower and double washbasin, plus a separate toilet — a practical layout for families or groups travelling together.
Upstairs, a separate lounge with a sofa bed gives the group another place to relax — or sleeps two more, for a full house of eight.
Outside, the wooden terrace is furnished with a dining table, four chairs and two lounge chairs, part of it sheltered by the roof for use in any weather. A private outdoor sauna and hot tub round out the house, along with parking for two vehicles and an EV charging point.
