Lakelodge 6p stands amid the forests and mountains of Vrådal, designed for a group of six. Large windows bring the surrounding landscape right into the house, while the five double bedrooms and several bathrooms are spread over two floors, leaving everyone space to come together and space to withdraw when they’d prefer some quiet.

With its own sauna, a jacuzzi on the terrace and a games lounge on the upper floor, the lodge makes a cosy base whatever the season, and not just in the summer months.

The lodge’s social heart is its 106 m² ground floor. Just inside, the entrance hall offers room to leave coats, shoes and outdoor gear, and next to it you’ll find a separate toilet and a laundry room that comes with a washing machine, dryer, drying rack and vacuum cleaner.

This floor has two double bedrooms, and both come with a Smart TV and built-in storage. One of the two has its own door out to the terrace.

After a day of hiking, skiing or exploring, the private sauna is the obvious next stop, and it’s reached directly from the main bathroom, which has a bathtub, shower, toilet and double washbasin.

Lakelodge also works very well for smaller groups: the ground floor alone sleeps up to 4 people. Its bedrooms and spacious bathroom make it a comfortable stay for guests with limited mobility as well.

Big windows open this combined living, cooking and dining space to the forest and the lake beyond, and there’s room here for everyone in the group together. A wood-burning stove and natural stone details add character beneath the high ceiling and open mezzanine.

The kitchen is fully equipped with an induction hob, convection oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, toaster and electric kettle, along with both a Dolce Gusto and a filter coffee machine. The dining table has seats for all six.

Three additional double bedrooms occupy the 69 m² upstairs, and each has built-in storage and a Smart TV. The balcony can be reached from two of them.

This floor also has its own lounge and game area, furnished with a sofa, TV, Xbox and board games. It’s a second retreat for children, teenagers or anyone else who’d like to step away from the main living room.

The remaining facilities are two shower rooms (one with a double washbasin) and a separate toilet. Stair gates are in place for younger guests.

Plenty of space to dine, relax, or watch the light shift over the lake and mountains is provided by the covered terraces along the lodge, which come with lighting and outdoor furniture.

The jacuzzi is on one terrace, heated, jetted and covered for use all year. All terraces are fully fenced with railings and a gate, so, along with the upstairs stair gates, small children can play safely in this spacious outdoor area.

At the back of the lodge, guests have two two-person canoes at their disposal. The outdoor area also includes a storage room for skis, bicycles and other equipment, an electric barbecue and a woodshed with firewood for the wood-burning stove.

Electric vehicle charging: a charging point is available at the lodge, ready for you as soon as you arrive.

Lakelodge 6p is one of two almost identical lodges standing side by side. Both have the same layout, capacity and facilities, differing only in small details of interior styling.
